What’s New On Netflix

Whats+New+On+Netflix

Netflix remains the ideal streaming service, frequently introducing new shows and films for the pleasure of its subscribers. It’s no surprise that the company started 2022 by welcoming a variety of new productions and continuations of series for viewers worldwide.

Waiting nearly a year and a half, season two of the science-fiction series, “Raising Dion,” finally comes to Netflix, starring Ja’Siah Young as the main character. Season one took viewers through the story of 8-year-old Dion and his widowed mother, Nicole, who deal with the sudden discovery of Dion’s supernatural abilities — and after leaving us with a shocking cliffhanger, audiences can’t wait to see what season two will bring.

Other newcomers include “The Royal Treatment,” where Laura Marano and Mena Massoud star in a Netflix original rom-com, a family-friendly movie about a hairdresser hired to work at the wedding of a charming prince for whom she falls for. Introducing “Hype House”, a reality television show with several social media influencers under the spotlight, Netflix shows the lives of content creators living together in a drama-filled house. “Cobra Kai,” a hit television-drama and comedy series that released its first season in 2018, welcomes season four. The television show is a sequel to the “Karate Kid” films, placed thirty years afterwards, and it’s surely worth a watch.

Later this year, we will finally be receiving season four of the award-winning series, “Stranger Things.” Production was delayed due to the pandemic, but after two years, new characters, storylines and plot twists will grip the show’s fans once more. Arriving sometime this year to Netflix, “The Witcher: Blood Origin,” a prequel to the popular television show adapted from Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series “The Witcher” is bound to attract interest, as well as season two of Netflix-series “Bridgerton,” based on the novels written by Julia Quinn.

Keep your eyes peeled for an exciting year of fresh films and productions coming right to your laptop screen!
