This year the Knights’ volleyball team demonstrated determination on the court. Coach Christina Hobson said that the team’s efforts led to sweeping both Vernon and Pope John, two highlights of their season. The Knights were also able to defeat rival, Morris Knolls, in a game. Contributing to the team’s success was Angeline Wedemeier, who broke the school record for the most digs in both a season and a career. Christina Rafanelli, who led the team in blocks, Ailey Sheehan, who led the team in kills, and Debbie Volpe were also strong players. Coach Hobson is most proud of the team’s work ethic. The team also fundraised over $1400 in their Dig Pink Game for the fight against breast cancer.
