On the Dance Floor
That evening, students and staff had a chance to show off their dancing skills at the annual Homecoming Dance in the cafeteria. Members of the Student Government Association and Project LEAD decorated the area to match the “Harvest Festival” theme with streamers, leaves, and crepe paper. With over 400 attendees, the lines to enter were out the door. Once the dance commenced, students mingled and danced, enjoying the fun, fall atmosphere. The DJ knew exactly what songs to play to hype up the attendees; most of the guests could be seen dancing at any given moment. As the pizza arrived, those on the dance floor took a short break to refuel and stock up on energy, not for long, though; everyone was shortly back to dancing, making the most of the rest of the evening. Eventually, however, like all things do, the night came to an end, and students departed after a fun night. A huge shoutout and thank you to the SGA advisers, the Morris Hills administration, and all other students and staff who made this night great!
