With warm weather rapidly approaching and the end of the school year in sight, Morris Hills students are gearing up for a summer full of adventure, family, hard work, and everything in between.
For some, summer means hitting the road. Senior Twisha Rai is heading to the scenic shores of Lake Tahoe and the bustling city of San Francisco, while senior Khushi Prajapati is looking forward to spending a full month in Florida visiting her cousins. Sometimes the best summers are the ones spent with the people you love most.
Not everyone is taking it easy, though. Dancer and performer Vennela Kunchala has a packed itinerary! She will be going on tour as a professional dancer, with stops in Dallas, the Bay Area, Philadelphia, Raleigh, and Boston. It’s a well earned spotlight for someone who has clearly put in the work.
One anonymous student has perhaps the most action-packed summer of all: cliff diving in the Bahamas and swimming with dolphins. If that isn’t the definition of making the most of your time off, nothing is.
Of course, not all summer plans involve travel. Sophomores Katherine Huang and Diya Borundiya are spending their break preparing for the SAT. It’s a reminder that for many students, summer is also an investment in the future.
Whatever their plans, Morris Hills Knights are heading into the summer with energy and purpose. Whether they’re crossing the country, crossing oceans, or conquering standardized tests, it is clear our Hills community does not slow down!
