On September 28, Morris Hills SGA advisors, Mrs. Niemo and Mrs. Moreno hosted the 2024 Fall homecoming. This year’s theme, decided by the student body, was “Enchanted Garden”. Various vibrant, colorful, and beautiful decorations were doused throughout the gym, accurately emulating a “garden” feel.

Also in the gym, on the dance floor, where students jumped for joy and made the floor bounce, the DJ played many famous tracks such as FE!N, Party in the USA, and Carnival. Amidst the fun, homecoming queen Emily Mulroony, princess Kimberly Gambrell, and the rest of the homecoming court were congratulated for their contribution and effort towards this event.

As you made your way to the cafeteria, students and their friends sang karaoke songs while surrounded by luscious flowers and familiar tunes. One of the talented singers that night, Lucas Grippo, said, “People were cheering for me and I enjoyed it!”

Students also enjoyed the variety of snacks, drinks, and other commodities available in the cafeteria. Junior Shriya Sridharan highlights that “the snacks were nice,” and she is also “glad there was more than enough this year.”

Overall, Morris Hills hosted a successful, charming, and truly unforgettable homecoming that left the students in awe for yet another year and displayed a bright future for all of MH activities to come in the future.
