On November 22nd, the Indian Cultural Club hosted its annual Diwali party, bringing together students and community members to celebrate the Festival of Lights. The event welcomed students, staff, and community members, creating an inclusive environment that highlighted the beauty and richness of Indian culture. Held in the school cafeteria, the evening was a wondrous blend of food, music, and dance.
Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. The event embraced this spirit, with decorations featuring sparkling fairy lights and beautiful backdrops. As guests arrived, they were greeted by the inviting aroma of traditional Indian dishes and the music that hinted at the excitement ahead.
The event featured an array of traditional Indian dishes catered by the popular local restaurant, House of Biryani. A crowd favorite was the pani puri station, where guests delighted in creating their crispy, tangy, and spicy treats, a street food staple in India.
