The Morris Hills annual Halloween parade was another great success! With more than 100 students attending dressed in costume, and the marching band playing Thriller by Michael Jackson, the event brought the Morris Hills community together in a great celebration.
Creativity was showcased through a wide range of costumes – from onesie animals like monkeys, cows, and pigs to unique dinosaurs and characters from movies. The parade route was lined with students and faculty cheering on the hilarious costumes which created a festive atmosphere.
Vennela Kunchala, a junior who dressed as a monkey with a few others, said, “Even though the parade is an annual tradition, each year it’s a different experience with new costumes and new people; this year especially it was super fun to walk around and see the Morris Hills Knights walk together even though we were dressed different!”
Additionally, Jaden Glogg, a sophomore in the marching band, said, “Being able to miss class to play with my friends as we’re all dressed up, all joking with one another before we set off around the school was just really fun.”
The Halloween Parade proved to be another great success, which left everyone eagerly anticipating the next one!
