On Saturday, October 11th, 2025, Morris Hills lit up the night with its annual Homecoming Game and Dance, themed “Knight in NYC.” The day began with an exciting 27-6 victory against Parsippany High School, setting the stage for a spirited celebration!

Adding to the excitement, Sophia Salazar was crowned Homecoming Queen and Faith Bode Homecoming Princess. Congratulations to the entire 2025 Homecoming Court – Sophia Salazar, Faith Bode, Akunna Agbo, Daniela Hidalgo, Jisele Gonzalez, Emily Mendola, Issy Ramirez, Devki Patel, Ava John, Gianna Ledford, and Kristen Colindrez – for representing Morris Hills with pride and enthusiasm!

Following the thrilling victory, students gathered in the decorated gymnasium, transformed into a vibrant New York City skyline with lights, photo booths, and city inspired decor. The cafeteria also had karaoke where students sang their favorite songs, filling the space with laughter and energy. The theme of “Knight in NYC” captured the energy of the city that never sleeps, creating an exciting atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and school spirit.

Throughout the night, students danced to popular songs, posed for photos, and celebrated the hard work of our Student Government Association and volunteers who brought the event to life. This evening truly embodied what Homecoming is about – community, tradition, and creating memories that will last long after the final song ended.
