Every year at Morris Hills there is a spirit week right before Homecoming. For reference, this year was Monday: USA, Tuesday: Hawaiian, Wednesday: Wear pink, Thursday: Throwback, and Friday: Morris Hills Apparel. Spirit week is always a fun way to lighten up everyone’s mood and to get them excited for the big day. In fact, you can win free tickets for best dressed and following the theme each day, which means everyone is racing from left to right in order to win!

One of the winners who had a word on spirit week is sophomore Michael Fulton. “For inspiration, I spent a while scrolling through Pinterest and TikTok, while also seeing what items and accessories I already had at home. My main source of motivation was simply the fun of participating in spirit week. I love being able to dress up while also showing school spirit” he expresses. “My initial reaction to winning was definitely shock. I wasn’t expecting it at all, and to make it even better, I didn’t even realize that I’d also won a free ticket to homecoming from it.”
