The annual Mr. Morris Hills pageant lit up the auditorium with one of the most entertaining and energetic lineups our school has ever seen! From singing and dancing to comedy, poetry, and even fortune telling, each contestant brought personality, humor, and talent to the stage.
The night opened with roaring applause as contestants stepped into character for their talent performances. Keion Andrews kicked things off with a confident performance of “Beautiful Girls”, and Ralph shifted into this scientist persona by putting on a chemistry show that blended humor with creativity. Cullen Diffley imitated celebrity Tom Holland with his dance performance to “Umbrella” by Rihanna. TJ Gordimer and Nick Zuzzio had their own hilarious rendition of “Let it Go” with TJ as Elsa and Nick as Olaf. Lukas Grippo played into everyone’s hearts with a well-delivered version of “All of Me” by John Legend. Cole Nekich brought the Disney energy back to the stage with “You’re Welcome” from Moana, AJ Jimenez beautifully sang “One Call Away”, and Ajay Piombino intrigued the audience with his role as a fortune teller. Tim Valentine shifted the moon with an emotional poetry performance, and Max Wolf closed the talent segment with an impressive drumming showcase.
The boys also had celebrity impersonations. Max and Nick acted as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart, imitating their tortilla-slapping competition. Tim and TJ acted as the grinch and Happy Gilmore, and Ralph and Cullen were Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. Ajay and AJ were both stepbrothers, and Lukas was Woody from Toy Story. Cole impersonated Mr. Beast and Keion impersonated Will Smith. All these impersonations were amazing and really brought a laugh to the audience!
As the judges deliberated, it was clear the competition was tight, but there can only be one true winner. Cullen Diffley took home the coveted title of Mr. Morris Hills, with TJ Gordimer winning Mr. Hollywood and Keion Andrews earning the title of Mr. Money. The audience erupted in applause as the winners took center stage, closing out a night filled with laughter, talent, and school pride. This year’s Mr. Morris Hills pageant will be remembered as one of the most exhilarating and heartwarming showcases the school has hosted!
