This school year, the Morris Hills SGA is proud to unveil a new initiative aimed at keeping the student body informed, engaged, and connected: the Knightly News. Released every Thursday morning during Block 1 or 5, this weekly video provides a snapshot of school life, covering everything from recent events to upcoming activities, as well as highlighting athletic accomplishments.
The Knightly News is designed to give students a one-stop resource for all the happenings around campus. Each edition recaps the previous week’s events, offers a glimpse into current week activities, and previews what students can look forward to in the week ahead. Whether it’s club meetings, special events, or volunteering opportunities, the video ensures that students never miss any activity that Morris Hills offers.
In addition to academic and extracurricular updates, the Knightly News celebrates the school’s athletic achievements. From victories on the field to standout individual performances, the video shines a spotlight on the dedication and hard work of the school’s athletes.
Students who have seen the first few editions are already praising the initiative. “I love how it covers everything in one place,” said junior Eli Andaya. “I feel like I finally know what’s happening around school without having to ask.”
The Knightly News can be accessed online on Youtube, making it easy for students, teachers, and staff to stay informed from anywhere. Teachers are encouraged to tune in every Thursday during Block 1 or 5 to catch up on the latest school events, student achievements, and upcoming activities. By staying engaged with the weekly video, we can better support student involvement and celebrate the successes happening throughout the school community. As the initiative grows, the SGA hopes to include more student contributions, features, and highlights.
With the Knightly News, staying in the loop has never been simpler. Tune in every Thursday for the latest news on what makes our school exciting!
