The Morris Hills High School Medical Club hosts meetings several times a month, involving volunteering opportunities at blood drives and food drives and service values such as crafting for hospital patients and comfort kits for disaster relief. Lessons involve presentations, research projects, and other hands-on activities.
In terms of leadership, Prisha Munigala is the president of the club, Samhita Poondala is the vice president, and Kayla Andreazza is another vice president. The club’s advisor is Mrs. Schwartz.

In addition to these matters, Srija Boddu, a 3rd year BSMD student, was a guest speaker at one of the meetings in the past.
Stop and Shop Can Shakes are a method used by many clubs at Morris Hills High School to gain the funding to allow members of the club to engage in other activities due to an accumulation of valued resources. Therefore, it is extremely encouraged by these clubs that members of people involved in these clubs or not help fund the activities presented by these clubs to make their outreach even more substantial.
The Medical Club Can Shakes typically run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., but sometimes they run from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The last Medical Club Can Shake was on February 15th (a Sunday), on 245 Littleton Road in Morris Plains, New Jersey. It lasted from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
On their Google Classroom page, being involved in one of the Medical Club Can Shakes is listed as “a great opportunity to interact with the community, raise money for club activities, and show us your leadership/interest for both the club and the medical field.”
In order to sign up to participate in one of these events, there is a provided Google Sheet in which you can list your name and select the timings in which you would like to go to Stop & Shop. It operates on a first come–first serve basis.
With about eighty members, not including the leadership administration, it is becoming highly advised for people to promote the further effectiveness of this club by coming to the Can Shakes to provide in relation to monetary funding.
